The Citizen's Charter Introduction of our city We, the citizens of Uiwang, who draw pure character from Mount. Baekwoon and a noble spirit from Mount. Chenggye, unite out efforts as servants of righteousness and peace to make our city, Uiwang, a paradise on earth, a worthy place. We pledge to abide by the following charter1.We will walk along the true and righteous path, following the meaning of Uiwang 2.We will cherish the character of our lovely city which was established by heaven and cultivate that character wholeheartedly. 3.We will practice the spirit of mutual harmony and help one another in the highest faith and with the upmost efforts. 4.We will take the lead in achieving an abundant and full life through diligence and frugality. 5.Our elders will help our youths to have great vision for the future and our youths will develop a lifestyle of serving our elders. We are proud to be the People of Uiwang and we joyfully give our lives to the precious task of helping to create a new world culture as optimistic Koreans of tomorrow.
